E3 this week actually had some seriously decent Games. Deus Ex Mankind Divided, DOOM, Fallout 4 (shame there isn’t a decent Pokémon game this year or at least a Y version of Pokémon X and Y), Final Fantasy 7 HD Remake (about time!) and plenty more but what really stood out for me at least was the Bethesda’s show.
Being a massive DOOM fanboy I drooled all over the preview gameplay and map editor (can’t see too many level designers being too happy with that idea) and fallout 4 actually surprised me big time. The improvements they made look like they ripped them from all the mod community of fallout in general but that’s not a bad thing, having that many options in the game is going to make it suck what little soul time I have left in this vessel. So pretty much the next day I pre-ordered my Fallout 4 pip-boy Edition from GAME which is probably the best £100 I ever spent (that is probably a lie) The hype train is real for these two bad boys, if Doom had a special edition I would probably try and get that also but alas I can’t find anything about that (at the time of writing this).
